BreakBeat Brass Band – is a nine member brass band (plus a rap artist). All members are promising students of music in Slovenia and abroad. Their focus is on presenting brass instruments in a completely new way. Most of people know these instruments only from classical orchestras, chamber groups, big bands,… But this band plays some kind of the mixture of jazz, hip hop, New Orleans street style, rock and other genres. Such genre is well accepted by today’s youth, so band does a lot of educational work at elementary and high schools. These musicians always play with their sound engineer, who takes care for perfect digital sound picture. Influences: Youngblood Brass Band, Rebirth Brass Band,…
